Përshkrimi

Punëtoria i dedikohet bazave të CrowdSec, e cila është një IDS/IPS me kod burim të hapur dhe bashkëpunuese. Do flitet se përse filloi, cilat ishin sfidat që tentonte të zgjidhte dhe se si funksionon. Çdo pjesëmarrës do ketë dy servera VPS për instalimin e agjentit CrowdSec dhe NGIX bouncer të cilin do e konfigurojmë të mbrojë website duke përdorur Google reCAPTCHA. Gjithashtu do shikojmë vëzhgueshmërinë e sistemit duke përdorur Metabase wë është një nga konsolat e bazuara në ueb për CrowdSec. Sugjerohet që pjesëmarrësit të kenë me vetë laptopë personal me ssh dhe që të dinë disa njohuri bazike të Linux (ose të vijnë në grup me dy njerëz për këtë). Gjithsesi mund të përdorni dhe laptopë nga Open Labs por do të duhet të konfiguroni ssh.

Description in English

At the workshop will be about the basics of CrowdSec which is a FOSS IDS/IPS; why it was started and which challenges it looks to fight and how it works. Every attendee will be getting two VPS servers where we will install the CrowdSec agent and the NGINX bouncer which we will configure to protect our website using Google reCAPTCHA. We will also look at observability using Metabase and the free-to-use CrowdSec web based console. Every attendee much have their own computer with ssh and know their way around Linux and basic stuff as file editing (or form a two person team with someone who does).
